This website is owned by Luis Coutinho, tax number (NIF) 260340677, R. José Estêvão 1, 3800-541 Aveiro, Portugal, who is the controller of your personal data. For anything about privacy, write to security@luhenix.com.
luhenix.com is a static site. It has no forms and no user accounts. It only contains mailto: links to send us an email and links to our profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
It sets no cookies and uses no advertising, paid campaigns with data collection, or tracking pixels. It does not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. The fonts are hosted on the site itself, so a visit makes no requests to Google.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. To deliver the pages, the server receives your IP address and the technical details of the request (for example, your browser and the page requested), which GitHub may log for security reasons under its own terms. We have no access to those logs.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in making the site available securely (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(f)).
We measure visits with Umami Cloud, hosted in the European Union and restricted to luhenix.com. It uses no cookies and does not store your IP address; what it keeps is statistical and does not identify who visited. We measure these events: clicks on email, LinkedIn and social network links, language changes, and reaching the contact section.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used so we can improve it (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(f)).
If you write to a @luhenix.com address (for example, hello@luhenix.com, prj.website-scanner@luhenix.com or security@luhenix.com), we process your name, your email address and whatever you send us to answer your request and, if we work together, to prepare and provide the service.
Legal basis: steps prior to a contract and performance of the contract, when the request is about our services (Art. 6(1)(b)); compliance with legal obligations such as invoicing (Art. 6(1)(c)); otherwise, our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Retention: if the contact does not lead to a service, we delete the emails within 2 years of the last contact. If it does, we keep the correspondence for the duration of the relationship and for 10 years afterwards, the retention period for accounting and tax records.
We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to have the site indexed. They do not collect data from people who visit the site.
We do not sell or share personal data. We use these providers, who process data on our behalf: GitHub (site hosting), Umami (visit statistics) and Microsoft (email).
If you follow a link to LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube or Facebook, that platform's privacy policy applies.
GitHub and Microsoft are United States companies. When data leaves the European Union, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict and to object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise them, write to security@luhenix.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
